To use the library resources more effectively you will need several personal accounts.

Library account (My Account)

You can access your personal library account to view or renew the items you have checked out; to learn about the status of your requested items; to see if you have any pending fines; and to create lists of items.

If you are a student or faculty member, the library account has already been created for you. You can access it using your login credentials.

Staff members should request their login credentials at John S. Bailey Library.

Personal accounts

Many library resources also provide the option of creating personal accounts. These accounts allow you to customize a resource and use additional features. In some cases, they also provide off-campus access.

Except in the case of the Financial Times, and the Lloyd's List where a personal account is the only access option, we recommend you rely on the library’s EZproxy system for off-campus access.

Creating personal accounts on the following library resources provides advanced functionality.

Resource Advanced features
ARTstor Accessing password-protected folders
EBSCOhost Saving citations & downloading ebooks
Financial Times Accessing content
JSTOR Saving citations
Lloyd's List Accessing content
ScienceDirect Saving citations
