Finding resources

A newspaper is “a serial publication, usually printed on newsprint and issued daily, on certain days of the week, or weekly, containing news, editorial comment, regular columns, letters to the editor, cartoons, advertising, and other items of current and often local interest to a general readership” (Online Dictionary of Library Science ).

Newspapers are a good source of information for current issues, and key trends. They are not considered to be academic sources as they mostly present journalistic views and not academic research.

The library has certain current newspapers in print format and many more in electronic format available through the library databases.
