Overview

Almost all of the library’s online resources are available from outside the ACG campus.

Some of our tools are openly available, while our subscription databases are restricted to current students, faculty and staff. To access our databases from off-campus you will need to sign in as described below.

Databases

All databases are available off-campus by signing in to EZproxy with your login credentials, except those indicated below under “Exceptions”.

EZproxy is a system that allows you to sign in and use databases as if you were on campus.

On the library website, databases with off-campus access are indicated with the home icon (Off-campus access icon).

Exceptions

  • The Financial Times requires a personal account for both on- and off-campus access.
  • iMentor does not allow off-campus access. You will need to be on campus and request login details at the library.
  • The Lloyd's List requires a personal account for both on- and off-campus access.
  • The New York Times does not allow off-campus access.

Other tools

  • The Library Catalog is openly available. You can search for books and create list of books. You will need to sign in with your login credentials to save lists of books, renew items and check your holds.

  • Publication Finder is openly available. You can search for periodicals and other online resources.

Both tools also contain links to our databases, which require authentication as described above.
