Off-Campus Access

The library subscribes to several databases that provide access to thousands of resources. The great majority of these databases are restricted to currently active students, faculty, and staff, and are accessible both from on- and from off-campus. However, off-campus access to library resources requires the authentication of library patrons, which is achieved with the help of EZproxy.

What is EZproxy?

EZproxy , provided by OCLC , is an authentication software that allows you to access the library resources remotely as if you were on campus.

Logging in to EZproxy

When you try to access a resource through the A-Z Databases list or Discovery  from off-campus, you will get the message shown below asking you to log in to EZproxy with your ACG Network username and password. Once you are connected to EZproxy, you will be granted access to all our databases for the duration of your session.

Important notes!
  • To gain remote access you must be a currently enrolled student or an active faculty or staff member.
  • Browser cookies may hinder you from signing in, especially after you have changed or misspelled your username or password. Thus, we recommend you clear all cookies and cached files from your browser regularly, or use an incognito/private window.
  • Due to publisher restrictions, alumni do not have off-campus access to the subscription databases.
  • ACG staff members can activate remote access by making a request at the Circulation Desk.
  • It is advisable that you start your research at the library homepage to ensure that you can successfully access the content to which we subscribe. If you do not enter through the library homepage, you may encounter paywalls and be denied access.
