Supporting researchers and faculty

We are committed to providing comprehensive support to researchers and faculty at all stages of their academic journey. In this context, we offer a wide range of services to help you find and use the information you need to enhance your research and teaching endeavors.

Researcher support guide

Our comprehensive researcher support guide offers guidance on topics like research impact, research data management, publishing procedures and funding opportunities with the aim to advance your skills throughout the research lifecycle.

Library instruction, workshops, & consultations

Our experienced librarians offer in-person and online library instruction sessions that cover a variety of topics, including: research strategies, citation styles, using databases, evaluating sources, managing your research using citation managers or boost your academic profile with developing your ORCID id. Additionally, we are dedicated to support your research needs with one-on-one assistance.

Reference managers

Citing sources is a crucial practice in academic writing with many benefits for researchers and their readers, as it is not only a matter of avoiding plagiarism, but also a way of demonstrating the quality and rigor of the research.  The Library supports students, researchers and faculty on this process with trainings on Mendeley and Zotero reference manager tools.

Researcher's online profile and identity

Researcher’s visibility is important as it increases the impact and reach of one's work within and outside of the scientific community, enhances their reputation and recognition as a scholar and expert in their field, and attracts more opportunities for collaboration, funding, and career advancement.  We are here to help you create and populate your very own ORCID profile.

Course reserves

Course Reserves service allows you to add additional resources to your course. You can place your requests for print and electronic material using an online request form throughout the academic year.
