On July 28, 2025, O’Reilly for Higher Education unveiled a new version of Answers, its AI tool. This enhanced tool is purpose-built for education and research. It’s powered by a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) model and draws only from O’Reilly’s curated content. Answers is fully integrated across the platform for seamless discovery. It blends the power of generative AI with O’Reilly’s learning library to deliver:

• concise, trustworthy answers grounded in expert content;
• cited sources and clickable references for deeper exploration;
• smart follow-up questions to encourage continued learning.

Answers is built on a secure, proprietary model and ensures no third-party data sharing.
