The main purpose of the Research Centre for the Humanities is the funding of research in the humanities through a process of annual public calls for the submission of research proposals. The proposals are refereed by established scholars from Greece and abroad. Among the goals of the Research Centre for the Humanities are the articulation of an agenda for the multifarious significance of the humanities, the public discussion and further dissemination of research results, the creation of a space for the development of new trends that are being discussed within the international community of the relevant fields.
