Enhance your skills and earn extra credit with Library Workshops

We offer a variety of workshops designed to equip you with essential information literacy and citation skills. By attending these workshops, you can:

  • Boost your academic success:
    • Learn effective research strategies.
    • Critically evaluate sources.
    • Properly cite and manage your sources.
  • Receive credit: Upon successful completion of the three workshops, your achievement will be reflected on your co-curricular transcript.
How to earn this Credit:

1. Choose your workshops:

  •  Select one workshop from the “Build up your library skills” category:

-> Research Rookie to Research Rockstar

OR 

->Become a Google Scholar "Guru"

  • Select two workshops from the “Cite & Manage your sources” category:

->APA Referencing Basics (Mandatory)

AND

->Taming the Citation Beast: Use Zotero for Effortless Research Management

OR

->Learn How to Tame the Tide of References: Power Up Your Research Workflow with Mendeley
 

2. Attend and participate: Actively engage in the workshops and receive a certificate of attendance.

3. This co-curricular transcript credit is effective for undergraduate students attending and completing the required workshops from the Spring 2025 semester onwards. Credit will only be awarded for workshops completed within the same semester.
