Statistical data and reports are very significant information sources in most fields of study, including business, the social and natural sciences. Company, industry, consumer, and other data provide useful insight on how businesses, markets, societies, and nature work, and can serve as persuasive evidence when writing papers. However, never forget to examine how and by who the statistics that you intend to use were gathered, as the collection and sampling methodology may influence data analysis and interpretation.

The following subscription databases will give you access to a wealth of statistical data and reports. For information on how to access these databases from off-campus, you may consult our off-campus access page.

Web-based application that provides data from over 25 extensive databases. Data include public and private company information, fixed income, economics, estimates, global filings, corporate governance, M&A, ownership, supply chain, and more.

For both on- and off-campus access, you need to create a personal account with your institutional email address. Select STUDENT or PROFESSOR depending on your status. Data included in this database spans bond indices, bonds, commodities, convertibles, credit default swaps, derivatives, economics, energy, equities, equity indices, ESG, estimates, exchange rates, fixed income, funds, fundamentals, interest rates, and investment trusts.

► Company financial information

GLOBAL 2000 | Forbes Lists Forbes’ 18th annual ranking of the world’s 2,000 largest public companies. Data provided include sales, profit, assets, and market value.
Investor Network Investor Network (IN) is a financial content community that provides millions of unique investors with the latest in-market information, earnings, commentary, and trending news. IN delivers timely, trusted, and relevant financial information suitable for virtually every investor, from professional to average traders.
Yahoo! Finance Yahoo! Finance is a media property that is part of Yahoo!'s network. It provides financial news, data, and commentary including stock quotes, press releases, financial reports, and original content. It also offers some online tools for personal finance management.

Country Profiles | The World Bank The World Bank Group provides data and reports for more than 170 countries, regions, and country groups worldwide.
IMF Country Information Country information provided by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), an organization of 189 countries, working to foster global monetary cooperation, secure financial stability, facilitate international trade, promote high employment and sustainable economic growth, and reduce poverty around the world.
National Accounts Main Aggregates Database | United Nations The National Accounts Main Aggregates Database presents a series of analytical national accounts tables from 1970 onward for more than 200 countries and areas of the world.

► Economic data

Bureau of Economic Analysis | US Department of Commerce BEA's economists produce some of the world's most closely watched statistics, including US gross domestic product, foreign trade and investment statistics, and industry data. The website gives access to national, international, regional, and industry economic accounts.
Centre for Economic Policy Research The Centre for Economic Policy Research is a network of over 1300 Research Fellows and Affiliates who focus on economic policy research and its dissemination. Its stated mission is to promote research excellence and policy relevance in European economics. It provides access to discussion papers reports and other economics resources.
Economic Research and Analysis | World Trade Organization The WTO provides economic analysis and research that aims to deepen understanding about trends in trade, trade policy issues and the multilateral trading system. Its annual publications include the "World Trade Report" and "World Trade Statistical Review".
FRED | Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis Short for Federal Reserve Economic Data, FRED is an online database consisting of hundreds of thousands of economic data time series from scores of national, international, public, and private sources. FRED, created and maintained by the Research Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, goes far beyond simply providing data: It combines data with a powerful mix of tools that help the user understand, interact with, display, and disseminate the data.
IMF Publications The International Monetary Fund published a wealth of reports, white papers and other publications such as the "World Economic Outlook Reports", the "Global Financial Stability Report", the "Fiscal Monitor Reports", and many more.

Athens Exchange Group The Athens Exchange Group (ATHEX Group) provides support to the Greek Capital Market.
