Read online

Once you have found the ebook you are interested in, follow the steps below to read it online. Reading an ebook online requires an Internet connection.

1. Open an ebook

Open an ebook for online reading by clicking one of the icons listed below:

	from the results page on Ebook Central database.
	from the detail page on Ebook Central database.
	from the results or detail page on eBook Collection database.
	from the detail page on O'Reilly for Higher Education database.
	from the results or detail page on Perlego database.

You will, then, be directed to the online-reading screen of the ebook.

2. Explore additional ebook functionality

Ebook functionality varies from database to database, but, most of the times, databases provide you with the options to:

• navigate ebooks by scrolling through pages or jumping to relevant chapters,
• search for text within the ebook,
• annotate,
• add the ebook to your bookshelf, folder, or playlist (depending on the database),
• print a limited number of pages (depending on the database),
• get the citation,
• zoom in or out so you can read the text easily.
