What is the Films On Demand app?

The Films On Demand app is a mobile application that allows you to search for, or browse, hundreds of academic films from the ACG Libraries' Films On Demand collections. Through the app, you can enjoy acclaimed documentaries, award-winning educational films, and helpful instructional videos in a variety of subject areas right from your mobile device.


What are the app's main features?

The Films On Demand app allows you to:

  • run keyword searches;
  • filter by subject, producer, language, format, publication date, or source;
  • browse by subject or producer;
  • use the "My Content" tab to see your favorite videos and playlists;  
  • use captioning;
  • resume watching where you left off;
  • enable "Autoplay" or "Continuous Play"; or
  • share videos via social media or email with other Films On Demand subscribers.

How can I connect the Films on Demand app to the library?

After downloading the app, you have to link it to the ACG Libraries. This means you first need to create a "Films On Demand" account with your institutional email. To create an account, follow the steps below:
