What is the Financial Times app?

The Financial Times app is the mobile application of the reknowned business newspaper. Using the application allows you to get trusted global news, reliable data, and expert insight right on your mobile device. Link the app to the library's subscription to be able to access international business top stories, expert analysis, and market data on-the-go.


What are the app's main features?

The Financial Times app allows you to:

  • get alerts about briefings and breaking news and manage your notification settings;
  • use "myFT" to:
    • check your daily news feed;
    • save articles for later reading;
    • select and follow the latest news topics of interest to you;
    • monitor and edit your investments portfolio;
    • revisit your recently viewed items;
  • listen to articles while on the move;
  • check the listening times for each article;
  • catch up with the news when you go offline;
  • share articles via social media or email with other Financial Times subscribers; or
  • gift twenty (20) articles per month to non-subscribers.

How can I connect the Financial Times app to the library?

To have access to the ACG Libraries' subscription through the mobile app, you need to authorize it with your personal Financial Times account. This means you first need to create an account with your institutional email. Once you have an account, follow the steps below:

  • Open the Financial Times app.
  • Tap "GET STARTED"
  • Go to the menu button Financial Times mobile app menu button at the top left.
  • Tap "Sign in".
  • Sign in to your personal Financial Times account.
