What is Adobe Digital Editions?

Adobe Digital Editions is an ebook reader mobile application that lets you download ebooks from ProQuest's Ebook Central and EBSCO's eBook Collection databases and read them online or offline. You can use it either in "Library view" mode, which allows you to browse the ebooks available on your virtual bookshelf, or in "Reading view" mode, which allows you to read your selected ebook.

What are the app's main features?

The Adobe Digital Editions app allows you to:

  • organize ebooks in your personal library, in thumbnail or list mode;
  • synchronize ebooks across your devices by authorizing each device with your personal Adobe account/ID;
  • adjust the font size and brightness for comfortable reading;
  • bookmark pages;
  • highlight book sections;
  • add annotations; or
  • search within an ebook.
