What is TradeWinds News?
TradeWinds News is the mobile application of TradeWinds, the world’s leading shipping business news service. The app offers you on-the-go access to shipping news, analyses, and insights in a new fully optimized mobile experience. Topics covered include shipping financing and shipbroking, deals, technological innovations, casualties and insurance, law and regulatory changes.
What are the app's main features?
The TradeWinds News app allows you to:
- check the latest news from the "Frontpage" or tap the magnifying glass at the top right to make keyword searches;
- use the "Menu" button to:
- manage your favorite topics, authors, and/or companies through the "Change favorites" tab;
- set and receive news alerts and/or custom email or push notifications;
- customize the bottom menu bar;
- jump directly to specific "Sectors", "Sections", or TradeWinds publications;
- check the "Latest news" feed; and
- use the "Share" feature to easily post articles on social media or share them on messenger apps.
How can I connect TradeWinds News to the library?
To have access to the ACG Libraries' subscription through the mobile app, you need to authorize it with your personal TradeWinds account. This means you first need to create an account with your institutional email.
Once you have an account, follow the steps below:
- Open the TradeWinds News app.
- Tap "Log in".
- Log in with your TradeWinds account.
- Read the company's data protection policy and tap "OK, I understand".
